Pr. Maruccia completed a PhD at the Sapienza University of Rome and a fellowship in advanced reconstructive microsurgery and lymphatic surgery at China Medical University Hospital in Taichung, Taiwan. He has over 8 years of teaching experience, being lecturer at international and national events, as well as author of over 100 papers in indexed journals and book chapters. Prof. Maruccia has organized numerous national and  international courses both on cadaver and living models. He is the President of the SPIGC (Italian Society of Young Surgeons). Giuseppe Giudice Upon completing his training in Italy, at Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza under Prof. C. Curioni, and at the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of the San Paolo Hospital in Milan under Prof. R. Brusati, he was selected for a residency at the Hospital Necker Craniofacial Surgery Unit, in Paris, France. He then came back to Italy working as Plastic Surgeon and has been appointed Director of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and of the Center for Heavy Burns, as well as Directing the Specializing School in Plastic Surgery at the Aldo Moro University of Bari, after having been Director of the Residency Program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the same institution for over 10 years. He has been authoring over 100 papers in indexed journals and book chapters and lecturing on several Plastic Surgery meetings. See more
