He serves as a faculty on courses offered by the AO Foundation. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in national and international institutions. Dr Babhulkar has published his research widely and is the recipient of various medals and awards in the field of orthopedic trauma. He is one of the few recipients of the A A Mehta Gold Medal Award by the Indian Orthopedic Association and is the youngest orthopedic surgeon in the world to hold an M.Ch. Orthopedic degree from the University of Liverpool, England.
